Ibrahim Ozbolat, assistant professor of mechanical and industrial engineering and co-director of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Group, has received a $15,000 research grant from the Diabetes Action Research and Education Foundation. He will study hybrid bioprinting of insulin-producing cell aggregates with vasculature toward a miniature artificial pancreas.
