Tom Schnell, associate professor of mechanical and industrial engineering and director of the Operator Performance Laboratory at the UI Center for Computer-Aided Design, has received an $8,190 research contract from Rockwell Collins, Inc., Cedar Rapids, IA.
Schnell and his research team will conduct flight-testing of a radio navigation system for the company.
