The Virtual Soldier Research (VSR) program is located within the Center for Computer-Aided Design on The University of Iowa campus.  With over 5,000 sq ft of space, VSR has a number of affiliated labs:

• The Digital Humans Laboratory
• The Neuromuscular Biomechanics Laboratory
• The Virtual Reality Laboratory
• The Optimal Design Laboratory (Dr.Jasbir Arora, Director)
• The Computational Mechanics Laboratory (Dr. Colby Swan, Director)
• The Biomechanics and Ergonomics Facility (Dr. Nicole Grosland, Director)
• The Motion Capture laboratory (Dr. Salam Rahmatallah, Director)
