After graduating from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, with an undergraduate degree in mathematics and physics, Mr. Steele was employed at General Dynamics Fort Worth Division from 1984 through 1991 as a senior engineer in the Radar Cross Section group in the Low Observables Technologies Department. Mr. Steele returned to The University of Iowa in mid-1991 to embark on an academic program in industrial engineering, graduating with a masters of science degree in May 1997, with a focus in process capture and characterization of the application of computer-aided engineering technologies in integrated concurrent software environments. Subsequent educational pursuits included the attainment of a master's in business administration from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business in May 2002. Throughout the period from 1991 to the present, Mr. Steele has been employed as a professional staff member at the Center for Computer-Aided Design, serving in various technical, administrative, and support capacities, and became the CCAD departmental administrator in January 2000. Mr. Steele is an accomplished technical writer/editor and continues to provide human resource, financial, and programmatic administrative support for CCAD.
