Mike Keller is a research engineer in the Operator Performance Laboratory (OPL) at the Center for Computer Aided Design. He received his undergraduate degree in electrical and computer engineering and entrepreneurship from the University of Iowa College of Engineering in 2004. Mike is obtaining his Ph.D. in industrial engineering with a focus in human factors in aviation.

Mike has designed and integrated advanced flight deck concepts for flight tests for fixed and rotary wing aircraft. He has also integrated advanced systems into automobiles and earth-moving machinery. Mike is also responsible for the development of several complex flight simulation environments.

Mike has extensive experience developing powerful visualization tools that facilitate the design and evaluation process. These tools have been employed across a number of domains including advanced flight deck displays, eye tracking systems, and neural avionics.
