GAWS Simulator

GAWS stands for General Avionics Workstation.  GAWS was designed by OPL to allow for different technologies developed by OPL to be demonstrated to the public.  It has been to Oshkosh (see photos from 2004, 2006) and been used in other demonstrations (photos are found in the SFB photo gallery).  Not only is the simulator equipped with the SFB, but it also has standard round dials and outside visuals.  GAWS can also be connected to the SOES tractor suit and seat.  The purpose of GAWS is to allow OPL to have a mobile demonstration platform for pilots.
