737 Simulator

About the 737 simulator

Located at the OPL flight operations research hanger, the 737 simulator has played a key role in many OPL studies. Our simulator has been used to support the Rockwell Collins program on Synthetic and Enhanced Vision.  Recently, this simulator has been used for the display latency study. Our simulator has the ability to simulate FLIR and to integrate it on SVS using Rockwell Collins proprietary software. The OPL procured this research aircraft with funds provided by the Center for Computer Aided Design (CCAD) for the purpose of performing airborne human factors research.
