Tom Schnell, associate professor of mechanical and industrial engineering and director of the Operator Performance Laboratory at the Center for Computer-Aided Design, has received two research grants.
The first is from Ohio University for $80,444 to develop a performance-based flight deck information management system for improved hazard awareness and source data integrity.
The second is for $6,000 to develop a sensitive and diagnostic mental workload classifier for Intelligent Automation, Inc.
