Local news station KCRG ran a story featuring Tom Schnell's research on February 16.
Schnell, director of the Operator Peformance Laboratory and professor in the UI College of Engineering, has teamed up with researchers at Rockwell Collins to improve flight simulators, make pilot training more effective, and reduce costs.
